How the system works

LC01

Components

LC01

LC01 is an electronic system that manages carburetion in traditional (LPG or natural gas) systems with mixer for vehicles equipped with a lambda probe. The LC01 ECU ensures the optimal air/gas ratio by means of the actuator control, which meters the flow of gas from the pressure regulator to the mixer, located on the intake manifold (continuous regulation of the gas flow). It requires no manual adjustments, and automatically adapts to different environmental and vehicle usage conditions.

LRG90

Components

LRG90

The LRG pressure regulator is a two-stage regulator for LPG suction systems. It reduces LPG pressure and vaporizes it with precision, ensuring a regular gas flow whenever the engine requires. It is able to handle engines from 90 kW to 140 kW.

Due to the sensitivity of its membrane and to its reliability, the regulator ensures perfect vehicle handling.

Square Switch

Components

Square Switch

Square electronic control unit; functions include:

  • gas/petrol switch and indicator of fuel in use with two leds
  • display of the quantity of gas in the tank with 5 leds.

Switch with an adjustable buzzer that sounds under the following conditions: switch back to petrol due to low pressure, switch back to petrol due to diagnosis.

Multivalve and filling point

Components

Multivalve and filling point

The multivalve is a mechanical device required to store LPG properly inside the tank.

In compliance with European Regulations ECE 67R-01, LANDIRENZO Multivalves are equipped with a pressure relief valve, a temperature relief valve, an excess flow valve, a non-return valve and a shut-off solenoid valve.

The multivalves are extremely accurate in shutting off fuel supply automatically at 80% of the total tank capacity, as prescribed by the Regulations.

All the multivalves are set up for installation of an electronic level indicator.

The external filling point, fitted with a non-return valve, permits LPG refuelling the world over.

LPG tank

Components

LPG tank

Landi Renzo offers various types of LPG tanks, selected based on strict safety criteria, in line with the highest standards of car manufacturers, and meeting the needs of most vehicles. Doughnut shaped tanks are housed in the place of the spare tyre. Cylindrical models, instead, are installed either in the boot or externally.

Both types of tank come in different sizes and capacities.

For safety reasons, LPG cylinders can only be filled to 80% capacity; this level is detected by the multivalve.
