With over 23,000 units, LPG registrations in Italy have grown by over 27% in the first two months of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016. This extremely positive trend marks a decided recovery from the decline recorded last year - at this rate, this may turn out to be the best year since 2010, which had been marked by strong incentives in the first quarter. Today, without any national incentive, the LPG market share is equal to 6.5%, i.e. almost one percentage point higher than the first two months of 2016. The three leading groups of manufacturers in terms of market share are three Landi Renzo customers, which together account for 69% of the market. Particularly successful are the new LPG models fitted with Landirenzo technology: Dacia Duster, Renault Clio, Citroen C3.
