Cavriago (RE), January 19 2010 – Landi Renzo S.p.A. has confirmed that it will once again sponsor “Viva l’auto”, the event promoted by U.I.G.A. (the Italian Union of Automotive Journalists) focusing on key themes in sustainable mobility, an area in which the company’s leadership is widely recognised.
Always supportive of initiatives in favour of environmental mobility, Landi Renzo, a world leader in the field of LPG and natural gas fuel systems and components for motor vehicles, will be present to underline the need for environmentally friendly mobility. In the “Eco Car” area visitors will be able to experience the future for themselves, test driving the least polluting vehicles now available on the market on the streets of Florence, along with new prototypes soon to become reality.
In this area Landi Renzo will be presenting the public at the event with a dual fuel Fiat Doblò which burns both diesel and natural gas. This important innovation was first presented last June in Rome at a world-wide conference on natural gas. The kit for conversion of diesel vehicles will be available on the market next year, finally allowing diesel-fuelled vehicles to improve their ecological performance and save money.
VIVA L’AUTO is one of the projects being implemented under the European Road Safety Charter, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Region of Tuscany, and the Province and City of Florence.
